LASTA Course Redesign Grants Available

All regular full-time tenured, tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty at Missouri S&T are invited to apply for mini-grants of up to $5,000 to help design or redesign an undergraduate course that will fit within the Latin American studies for technical applications (LASTA) minor. A letter of intent is due to the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI) at certi@mst.edu by Friday, Nov. 17.

The funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Education and the minor is under the Department of Arts, Languages and Philosophy.

The LASTA minor is designed to create more experiential learning opportunities for students as well as contribute to the university’s commitment to increase the number of students studying abroad.

A letter of intent is due to the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI) at certi@mst.edu by Friday, Nov. 17. The full proposal is due Friday, Dec. 15, also via email to certi@mst.edu. For guidelines and a grant proposal template, please visit CERTI’s website.
