Public Observatory Event

The public is invited to view the Pleiades at the Missouri University of Science and Technology Observatory. Come view the Pleiades, one of the brightest clusters in the sky and as such is the cluster most obvious to the naked eye in the night sky. It is also among the nearest star clusters to Earth. The sky must be clear for observing and session length will vary. Each observing session is open-ended. Children are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. All visitors must be able to ascend a short set of stairs to view the object through the telescope. To be added to the event reminder and cancellation notification email list, click here.
