Public Observatory Event
Come see Jupiter, the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest in the Solar System. It is a giant planet with a mass one-thousandth that of the Sun, but two and a half times that of all the other planets in the Solar System combined.
Visitors’ Nights at the Observatory are free of charge and no reservations are required. Each observing session is open-ended. Children are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. All visitors must be able to ascend a short set of stairs to view the object through the telescope.
For more information, or to have your email added to the event notification mailing list for future updates and weather cancellation notices, contact Ken Goss by email at email@example.com.
