The University of Missouri St Louis (UMSL), the Missouri Center for Transportation Innovation (MCTI), and the Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES) are hosting a one-day Freight Infrastructure Workshop on Feb 27, 2026, in the new Supply Chain Center of Excellence space at UMSL. 

The workshop will bring together faculty, PhD students, and practitioners to discuss freight infrastructure systems, with a focus on data, analytics, technology, policy, and resilience. The sessions will showcase how applied research informs real-world planning, investment, and policy decisions. 

There is no fee to attend, and lunch is provided for those who register. PDH credits are available, as is remote attendance if the trip to UMSL does not work with your schedule. CIES will provide travel support (mileage) for students who wish to attend. For student travel support, please reach out to spitz@mst.edu to make arrangements. Carpooling is encouraged when possible.
