ALP Speaker Series : Nick Nichols "Making Time for Your Passions"

Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 5:00pm

Castleman Hall, 143 (Black Box Theatre)

The arts, languages, and philosophy department 2019-2020 speaker series will continue with comedian and S&T alumnus, Nick Nichols, presenting "Making Time for Your Passions."

Nick says: "You do not have to wait until retirement to start doing things you're passionate about. People make time for things they care about, so why not make time for your passions NOW? I didn't let my busy Missouri S&T days, nor my busy post-graduate life prevent me from making time for passion, which is comedy. I believe passions are a part of a complete life and we need to treat them like so. I will discuss why it's important to make time for your passions, the reasons people don't make time, and how to make time. Let's stop giving so much of us to our school and career, that we don't have enough to give back to ourselves."

Nick's talk is free and open to the public.
