Bettie Mae Fikes: The Voice of Selma

This year's Martin Luther King Celebration will feature special guest speaker Bettie Mae Fikes, also known as the "Voice of Selma."

A celebrated icon of the 1960s civil rights movement,
Bettie Mae Fikes marched and sang with Martin Luther King.
Her message is universal, timely, timelessly
trans-generational and is sure to inspire us to
action. The event is open to the public and will be held in Leach Theatre.

Attendees are asked to bring a canned food or non-perishable item for admission.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for refreshments. The program begins at 7 p.m.
