400 W. 10th St., Rolla, MO 65409

Theater students the arts, languages, and philosophy department will perform “Cabaret” this April.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18; Friday, April 19; and Saturday, April 20; with a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21. All performances will be in Leach Theatre.

“Cabaret” is set in Berlin from 1929-1930 during the twilight of the Jazz Age as the Nazis were rising to power. The musical focuses on the hedonistic nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and revolves around American writer Clifford Bradshaw's relations with English cabaret performer Sally Bowles. The book is written by Joe Masteroff with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.

Tickets are $15 for the public and $10 for Missouri S&T faculty, staff, and students with a valid S&T ID. The musical contains mature content and adult language and is recommended for audiences over the age of 17.

Tickets can be purchased starting one hour before each performance from the Leach Theatre Box Office, located inside the main entrance to Castleman Hall, facing 10th Street. Tickets can also be purchased in advance online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online.
