The celebration symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, hope over despair, and good over evil. It’s a time to celebrate positivity, warmth, and the light within each of us that guides and inspires.

Cultural Venue: The Jack Carney Puck and Plaza
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Fireworks: Havener Lawn, 8:00 PM
Admission: Free and open to everyone, including the general public.
This year’s celebration is open to the entire campus and local community, so everyone is invited to join in the festivities. Expect an evening filled with mesmerizing cultural performances, music, and dance that showcase the rich traditions of Diwali. Later, gather with friends and community as we light up the night with a spectacular fireworks display, marking the spirit of the festival.
While tickets are not required for this free event, we recommend dressing warmly as the festivities will be outdoors. Unfortunately, food will not be provided, but you’re welcome to bring snacks or drinks to stay comfortable throughout the evening.
Whether you’re familiar with Diwali or experiencing it for the first time, this celebration is for all who wish to connect, learn, and make memories in a night filled with light, laughter, and togetherness.
