M. Stanley Whittingham, one of three people to receive the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2019 for their development of the lithium-ion battery, will give the fifth annual Dr. James Stoffer Lecture at Missouri S&T.
Whittingham's presentation will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, in Schrenk Hall's Monsanto Lecture Hall, Room G3. The lecture is free and open to the public.
