Erdoo Mongol, a doctoral candidate in geology and geophysics, will defend their dissertation on "Paleoecological and Paleoclimatic Reconstruction of Holocene Sediment Cores, Lake Izabal, Eastern Guatemala." Mongol is advised by Dr. Francisca Oboh-Ikuenobe, professor of geology and biological science and associate dean for academic affairs for the College of Engineering and Computing.
