Haodong Chen, a Ph.D. student in mechanical engineering, will present their doctoral defense, titled "Communication Modality and Activity Recognition in Intelligent Human-Computer Interaction and Human-Robot Collaboration." Haodong is advised by Dr. Ming Leu, the Keith and Pat Bailey Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering.
