Missouri S&T archivist Debra Griffith will give a short talk on the work of Gerald Rackett, a 1920 MSM graduate who became the vice president of Technicolor and innovated several film techniques and pieces of equipment. This will be followed by a film showing of a full-length “mystery movie,” one made possible by his work with the three-strip filming process. Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY! This event is co-sponsored with the Rolla Public Library.
