Dr. Mike Benton, the chair of chemical engineering at Louisiana State University, will give a presentation titled, "Using Nanoparticles to Improve Oil Spill Cleanup." Benton's current research focuses on bioremediation, bio-optics, alternative fuels, and the link between DNA structure/damage and carcinogenesis.
