Jackling Introduction to Engineering : Session II

Discover and experience how engineers use their knowledge to turn ideas into reality.

During Jackling Introduction to Engineering, you'll be introduced to a variety of engineering fields with demonstrations and activities related to each discipline. You will learn about what engineers do, what tools they use and how the various engineering fields affect everyday life. Engineering and science groups will present brief overviews of their areas of focus and the exciting technological challenges on which their graduates work. Choose from a suite of activities each afternoon that will include interactive workshops and problems that may include software development, aerospace testing and problem-solving, exploration of state-of-the-art engineering materials breakthroughs, and the process of product development and testing.

Session I: June 12-16, 2022

Session II: June 26-30, 2022

Session III: July 10-14, 2022

Rising 10th-12th graders

Cost: $575 which includes housing in residence halls, meals, and all course materials.
