In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., inclusion and engagement is asking students, faculty and staff to participate in a day of service. There will be a drop-in event 8 a.m. to noon at the Engagement House, located at 605 W. 11th St. Visitors will be able to sign up to participate in volunteer projects on Monday afternoon. Participating organizations include Russell House, Kaleidoscope Discovery Center, Ozark Rivers Audubon Nature Center, Greentree Christian Church, the Phelps County Dream Center, Crossroads and the Rolla Mission.

Donations for the Miner Food Pantry and Clothing Closet will be collected during the drop-in event, so those who are unable to volunteer that afternoon can still participate.
