At Missouri S&T, innovation happens every day. And not just in our labs and classrooms. S&T recognizes that high-quality staff are the backbone that allows the university to carry out its mission. Supervisors and human resources must work together to effectively attract and hire highly qualified and diverse talent to have the right people in the right jobs at the right time. Part 1 of this two session training focuses on recruitment, including planning, sourcing, and legal considerations. Part 2 focuses on the selection process including developing interview questions, applicant screening criteria, and candidate selection. Attending Part 1 is strongly recommended before attending Part 2.  Both of these courses can be taken as stand-alone but are also modules in the S&T Supervisory Foundation Training Series.
