The New Student Convocation marks the official welcome for Missouri S&T’s newest students and the beginning of their experience as Miners. During this special tradition, students will hear from campus and student leaders as they are introduced to the values, traditions and opportunities that define the Missouri S&T experience.

Convocation celebrates the start of the academic year and helps set the foundation for student success by highlighting the supportive community, culture of excellence, and spirit of innovation that make S&T unique. New students are encouraged to attend as they join their classmates, faculty and staff in this important milestone and take their first steps as members of the Miner family.
