Join nuclear engineering and radiation science for a seminar by Dr. Wenzhong Zhou, principal engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company. His presentation will be about multiscale, multiphysics and multiphase for reactor fuels, materials and systems.

Dr. Wenzhong Zhou brings over a decade of experience to his role. Formerly a tenured associate professor at Sun Yat-sen University and an assistant professor at City University of Hong Kong, he also served as a research associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Dr. Zhou earned his Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from Purdue University in 2010. His research interests encompass multiphysics nuclear fuel performance, accident-tolerant fuels, multiphase heat transfer, nuclear thermal hydraulics, severe accidents, and reactor safety.
