The Ozark Research Field Station is excited to announce acclaimed author, Janisse Ray, will speak on her life and career as an environmental author and activist at the Third Annual Conservaton Heritage Lecture. Winner of the American Book Award, Southern Book Critics Circle Award, and the Southern Environmental Law Center Award for Outstanding Writing on the Southern Environment. She was previously faculty in the Chatham University Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing. Her books include Ecology of a Cracker Childhood, Wild Card Quilt, A House of Branches, Red Lanterns, and more.
