Poster development and presentations – Tips and guidance for student researchers

Monday, April 1 at 6:00pm to 7:30pm

112 Emerson Electric Company Hall

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies will host an informational series on "Poster Development and Presentation – Tips and Guidance for Student Researchers."

The second of three interactive sessions, focused on development of an interesting, clear, and engaging conference poster, will be hosted during the Spring 2024 Semester.

Creating a high-quality poster that facilities discussion with peers and colleagues isn’t easy! Come learn from experienced faculty and graduate students how to make your poster stand out and help you better connect with your peers at conferences. These sessions will be interactive, meaning you can bring your laptop and work on your poster there!

Attendees of 1 or more of the CIES-hosted sessions will be eligible to participate in the Fall CIES Graduate Student Poster Session. This will be a great way to practice poster delivery while competing for a prize! Prizes will be offered for the top 3 posters.
