Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 6:45pm

Missouri S&T Observatory
1870 Miner Circle, Rolla, MO 65409

Venus will be illuminated at just under half. It will appear as a crescent in the night sky. This planet, being inside the orbit of Earth, never appears to travel far from the Sun.

Visitors’ Nights at the Observatory are free of charge and no reservations are required. Each observing session is open-ended. Children are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. All visitors must be able to ascend a short set of stairs to view the object through the telescope.
