Nuclear engineering and radiation science will host John Wagner, director of Idaho National Laboratory, for a talk on opportunities and challenges for nuclear energy and the role of Idaho National Laboratory. Wagner earned a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from Missouri S&T in 1992 and received the doctor of engineering, honoris causa, in 2022.

The campus community is invited to join as Wagner discusses the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for nuclear energy, with a focus on the research, development and demonstration priorities at Idaho National Laboratory. Additionally, he will provide an overview of the lab and discuss collaboration and employment opportunities.
