Curtis Laws Wilson Library, Second Floor

The Spring 2017 Student Art in the Library Exhibit is now open on the second floor of Curtis Laws Wilson Library through April. The exhibit jointly sponsored by Curtis Laws Wilson Library and the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business feature 40 works of art by 25 student artists. A broad range of mediums are represented including stained glass, acrylics, oils, mixed media, and digital art.

A reception will be held in the library on April 4th at 4 pm to honor the artists. Prizes will be awarded for Best of Show, People’s Choice and Honorable Mention. Judging is done by member of the Art in the Library Committee. This semester we are honored to include Orval Reeves as our gust judge. Orval Reeves is a local Rolla artist whose paintings have hung in the White House, Governor’s mansion in Missouri, Bank of California, and private collections around the worlds.

We need your help in selecting the Peoples’ Choice winner. Please visit the exhibit and then go to the library’s web page at library.mst.edu to vote for your favorite piece.
