The University Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. David Samson, will perform their final concert of the spring semester at 4:30 p.m. Sunday April 28, in Leach Theatre.

The Symphonic Band will perform  "Legend of the Saura" by William G. Harbinson, "Mountain Thyme" by Samuel R. Hazo, "Instant Concert" by Harold L. Walters, "Pirates of the Aeolian" by Robert Reck, and "Star Spangled Spectacular" by George M. Cohen. The University Wind Symphony will perform "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky, orchestrated by Ravel and transcribed by Lavender. 

Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth, ages 18 and under, and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID. If you would like to attend the 2 p.m. orchestra concert and 4:30 p.m. band concert on April 28, you can purchase a ticket for one concert and use the same ticket to attend the other concert free of charge.  

Tickets can be purchased at the Leach Theatre Box Office starting one hour before the performance. Tickets can also be be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online.
