The Kummer Center for STEM Education is partnering with the Mining and Explosives Engineering Department to host STEM in the Shadows at the Missouri S&T Experimental Mine. We invite you to bring your K-12 students for an evening packed with hands-on science experiments, interactive STEM activities, and spooky surprises - all inside the Kennedy Experimental Mine Building!  After participating in creepy, cool science experiments, K-12 students will be granted access to tour the mine for free from 4-8pm, courtesy of the STEM Center.  The mine will be open from 4-6 pm with lights on for a kid-friendly tour, before the scares begin at 6 pm.  Costumes are welcome, canned goods are encouraged, and fun is guaranteed!
