DESCRIPTION:The Kummer Center for STEM Education is partnering with the Min
 ing and Explosives Engineering Department to host STEM in the Shadows at th
 e Missouri S&T Experimental Mine. We invite you to bring your K-12 students
  for an evening packed with hands-on science experiments\, interactive STEM
  activities\, and spooky surprises - all inside the Kennedy Experimental Mi
 ne Building!  After participating in creepy\, cool science experiments\, K-
 12 students will be granted access to tour the mine for free from 4-8pm\, c
 ourtesy of the STEM Center.  The mine will be open from 4-6 pm with lights 
 on for a kid-friendly tour\, before the scares begin at 6 pm.  Costumes are
  welcome\, canned goods are encouraged\, and fun is guaranteed!
