To kick off the introduction of The Mill, S&T’s newest HPC cluster, IT Research Support Solutions is hosting a Supercomputing Training Event on Tuesday, April 2nd in St. Pat’s B in Havener and on Zoom. To RSVP and for more information, visit https://itrss.mst.edu/training-event/.

The day will start at 9am with “What is HPC/The Mill?” Everyone on campus is invited to join and learn about high performance computing and S&T’s cluster, The Mill. Starting at 10, session topics are geared at prospective, new, and existing users and include: getting started with HPC, teaching with The Mill, tools and strategies for using The Mill, and migrating your workflow from The Foundry to The Mill.

This event and general usage of The Mill is free to faculty, students, and staff (in publications and other works developed using The Mill, acknowledgement is required). RSVPing is appreciated to help us ensure that you have necessary access to follow along. In-person attendees will receive assistance throughout the workshops, so bring your own computer.
