About this Event
Americans typically learn a great deal about good health, but the critical role of quality sleep has often been neglected. Are you getting the optimal amount of sleep, along with the right diet and exercise? Did you know that Americans are getting less sleep due to work, technology, and increasing rates of sleep disorders? Are you always tired? Do you find yourself not as mentally sharp as you would like to be? Join Dr. Matthew Thimgan as he talks about how sleep has changed over the last century, the impacts of sleep deprivation on cognitive performance and personal health, and sleep disorders that can disrupt sleep. He will also provide practical strategies that might improve one’s sleep.
