What We Say and How We Listen- Training from Student Well-Being

Student Well-Being is hosting “What We Say and How We Listen” on June 30th, 2022. The training is intended for university employees and will show how the language we use shapes the trajectory of our conversations. Some topics that will be covered are person and identity first language, LGBTQIA+ affirming language, active listening, and nonverbal communication.
The training will be held in Havener in the Ozark Room from 11:00am - 12:00pm. RSVPs are not required but are recommended as space is limited.
